TRANSLATIONS
I specialize in translating text from the following areas: medicine, pharmaceutics, biology, chemistry, cosmetics, nutrition, and sports. My translation experience includes medical reports, scientific articles, popular science text, clinical trials, pharmaceutical materials, websites, product descriptions and video transcriptions for dubbing, among others.
The cost for translations is based on the required delivery date, source text format and level of specialization. Prices start at CZK 350 per standard page (1 standard page is 1,800 characters including spaces). I provide discounts for non-profit organizations and long-term clients.
INTERPRETING
My interpreting experience includes conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops, bilateral meetings, festivals, medical appointments, examinations. I offer simultaneous, consecutive and liaison interpreting.
Interpreting is normally charged at one day and half-day rates. Charges are 8,000 CZK / day for conference interpreting; 6,000 CZK / day for consecutive interpreting and 500 CZK / hour for liaison interpreting. I provide discounts for non-profit organizations and long-term clients.
When interpreting outside of Prague, travel and accommodation charges apply.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT MYSELF
I have a degree in translation and interpreting from the Institute of Translation Studies at Charles University in Prague. Since 2007, I have worked as a freelance translator and interpreter in Czech, English, Russian and Spanish. I am currently studying General Medicine at the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague, which has led me to specialize in medical translations and interpreting. You can
